After School Kid Care
Our after school program offers pickup from most north and central Lakeland schools. We have classes 4 days a week followed by a free day on Friday where children are allowed to play and socialize amongst themselves or play organized games with our coaches.
Classes involve calisthenic warmups followed by self defense techniques using a submission wrestling martial art called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,also known as BJJ.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been proven to be the most effective self defense martial arts to exist. Students wrestle or ‘grapple’ with each other daily which ensures techniques are being practiced under the realest circumstances possible.
Our program also offers daycare on teacher work days, holidays, or while kids are on break, where we plan fun activities like skating, parks, pool days, trampoline arenas, and even water parks.
Enrolling your child in our after school program and receive a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu uniform or ‘Gi’ and a starting belt.
How can BJJ Help Kids?
Brazilian jiu-jitsu provides a fun and demanding cardiovascular workout for your child, spouse, and you.
The whole family will LOVE doing it.
Through BJJ they will lose weight, gain core strength, and have more energy and stamina for demanding activities.
The hidden factors are the social benefits everyone will gain while learning a new skill.
If you are a Home-schooled family; we can’t think of a better way to get that social interaction than on the mats with our jiu-jitsu family.
